Irish Foot Harriers Association<\/em><\/h2>\n

The\u00a0Irish Working Terrier Federation\u00a0<\/strong>is delighted to announce that we have received the written support of the Irish Foot Harriers Association.<\/p>\n

This is an important milestone in the development of the I.W.T.F. and we are grateful for such staunch support from such a strong association.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Irish Foot Harriers Association<\/strong>\u00a0has the biggest membership of the HAI, with one hundred and twenty-nine packs of hounds. Most people think of hunting as the preserve of mounted followrs, but in Ireland, far and away the greatest numbers of<\/p>\n

hunting enthusiasts follow on foot and do so with great passion and commitment to the sport. Foot harrier packs hunt hares and foxes. This sport is particularly popular in the most southerly counties, with more than forty packs registered in Co. Cork alone. Many hunt clubs are based in cities and towns and consequently restrict their hunting days to the weekends.<\/em><\/p>\n

The IWTF sincerely thank the\u00a0Irish Foot Harriers Association<\/strong>\u00a0for their support.<\/p>\n

2: Club Direction<\/strong><\/p>\n

The committee has refocused and put in place a strategy for the coming weeks and months. Involvement of every club will be part of this process.<\/address>\n
Could all clubs do the following;<\/address>\n
a) Check the\u00a0Affiliation Page<\/em><\/strong>, that their club is recorded there.<\/address>\n
b) Go to the\u00a0Contacts Page,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>confirm clubs email, telephone number and submit.<\/address>\n
