Congratulations to Eddie Downey and the IFA.

EDDIE DOWNEY, FROM Slane in County Meath, has been elected as the new President of the Irish Farmers Association. He was named in the role representing 85,000 farmers, and moves up into the top job from his current position as Deputy President of the representative body. We had a good meeting with Eddie at Birr this year and he understands the need for terrierwork in pest control and predation management in modern farming.

 The I.W.T.F. wish him well in his new role and the committee look forward to working with Eddie and Irish farmers in the years ahead.
